what do i want out of my career?

I have sent in so many resumes and applications i become exhausted even thinking about it. even after all of those applications, i still am unsure of what i TRULY want out of a career. i don’t just want a “job”, i want a career that i truly enjoy. i don’t feel like that is completely unrealistic.

first off, i’m extremely frustrated that i get passed up for so many jobs that i think i would do well at. is my resume shitty, or what? i don’t know what else to do with my resume or cover letter that shows how truly dedicated and passionate about things i would enjoy doing 40 hours a week. i’ve begun to be angry more than anything. i feel like i’m wasting my time and my temporary waitress gig will soon be my permanent job. but wtf, i went to college, i worked hard and i feel like i have a lot to show people. tumblr followers, does anyone have any advice? god i know i probably sound so whiny but it’s just gotten to the point where i feel like “what’s the point?” tumblr people, if there is a point..please give me some advice bc lord knows i need it right now!
