Lauren & Kevin’s 2011 New Year Resolution
The resolution you may ask? To watch the top 250 movies according to imdb.com. I’m a big movie lover so I’m pretty excited to go about this adventure. We started this evening, I know, slightly late (it is january 9th!). Our first movie was called “Harvey” made in 1950. Sure, it looked and sounded hokey..but ya know what? I ended up thinking it was pretty cute. Sometimes old movies do that to me. For example, my dad would always try to get me to watch some of his favorite movies. I would slightly dread it but thought ‘hey, what the heck?’ Anyway- I do remember watching “American Graffiti” and I ended up really enjoying this movie. If you haven’t seen it, Netflix it! It’s a classic. Anyway- the premise of “Harvey” is about a man who has an invisible best friend. Who just happens to be a 6’3” white rabbit. I know it doesn’t sounded very interesting but the main character James Stewart was really quite good. I attached the trailer from you tube in case you were interested. I’ll try to keep all of you tumblettes updated as we venture through our new years resolution together! :)
